Cone Beam is a specialized 3D imaging technique used in dentistry, maxillofacial surgery, and the evaluation of bone structures.
More accurate than a conventional X-ray and involving less radiation than a CT scan, it is the test of choice for evaluating implants, sinuses, wisdom teeth, and bone structures.
This exam is covered by insurance and does not require any specific preparation. For a dental CT scan, the referral must be issued by a stomatologist or a dentist.
